City Council At-Large

• Cooperation: Working with local businesses to grow, become more profitable and hire more local citizens.
• Progress: With Walmart and the new hospital, we will attract more people and businesses to relocate to Tehachapi.
• Responsible Growth: Growth and Tax Revenue help maintain infrastructure. 
• Quality of Life: Security of our citizens through policing our neighborhoods and community involvement.

City Council District 5

• Balanced Budgets: The City has during my terms had balanced budgets and will continue to do so.
• Traffic Safety: I have been involved with and voted on funding for new sidewalks, safe routes to schools and new controlled intersections for public safety.
• New Business: As a board member of the Greater Tehachapi Economic  Development Council I was active in the approval of Walmart and other new business opportunities over the last 8 years. 
• Strong Community Commitment: We accomplish so much when working together. Our Downtown revitilization is a prime example. I will continue my commitment to working with Tehachapi and our residents. 

City Council District 4

• Roads & Sidewalks: Working diligently with the City for repairs and maintenance.
• Senior Housing & Activities: Encourage developers to invest in affordable housing for seniors with active lifestyles.
• Healthy Families & Clean Neighborhoods: Making a better community increases property values.
• Better Parks & Recreation: Investing in today and our future for everyone.

City Council District 1

• Public Safety: Maintaining Police and Fire Departments at the highest level possible to ensure our neighborhoods are safe.
• Roads: As a Kern Council of Governments Board member Phil has obtained millions of dollars for road improvements and new routes in and around Tehachapi.
• Potholes and Alleys: Prioritizing additional funding for pothole and alley repairs in District 1.
• Efficient Government & Strong Fiscal Management: Continue to safeguard the financial interest of the City by maintaining a balanced budget and ample reserves. 

Treasurer

• Understanding of Duties: As current City Treasurer I appreciate the requirements and duties of this position. 
• Financial Responsibility: Communication and transparency is critical as we ensure we have the best interest of our City in everything we do.
• Actively Involved: Regularly attend City Council, Planning Commission, Parks & Recreation meetings, volunteer at events and the Tehachapi Visitor's Center.
